UEW Chaplaincy Equips Student Religious Leaders with Practical Leadership Skills

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) Chaplaincy Board on Saturday, 16th August, 2025, held a leadership training seminar for executives of religious groups on the Winneba Campus at the North Campus Mini-Conference Room.

The training targeted the 2025/2026 Student Chaplaincy Executive Committee as well as presidents, general secretaries, financial secretaries and prayer secretaries of the various religious associations.

UEW Hosts Nestlé Career Fair for SPED Students

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) on Friday, 22nd August 2025, hosted a career fair by Nestlé Ghana Limited to provide career guidance and opportunities for students of the Department of Special Education (SPED).

The event, held at the North Campus Mini-Conference Room, offered students the chance to interact with professionals from Nestlé and learn about various career pathways.

UEW Enhances Exam Integrity Through Training

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW), reinforced its commitment to maintaining academic integrity and ensuring credible assessment procedures through a comprehensive training and orientation programme for examination officers, coordinators and graduate studies representatives.

The training, held on Thursday, 28th August 2025, at the North Campus Mini-Conference Room, gathered key stakeholders responsible for ensuring the smooth and transparent conduct of examinations across the University.

UEW Enhances Inclusive Education with Support from Ghana Gas

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) on Wednesday, 27th August 2025, received a donation of ten desktop computers, ten Bluetooth speakers and ten USB flash drives from the Ghana National Gas Company (Ghana Gas) in support of its Special Education Resource Centre.

The presentation at the Council Chamber of UEW reiterates the University’s commitment to inclusive education and highlights Ghana Gas’s dedication to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in education.

UEW Strengthens Partnership with GAF to Broaden Academic Opportunities

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW), on Wednesday, 27th August 2025, hosted a four-member delegation from the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) to explore new areas of collaboration and to strengthen existing academic partnerships.

The visit, which brought together senior officers of the GAF and UEW management, underscored the mutual commitment of the two institutions to advance education, professional development and national service.
