UEW MPhil Student Excels as Ghana’s Sole Representative at ESAA Impact Forum 2025

A Master of Philosophy (MPhil) student at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has made a mark on the international stage as Ghana’s sole representative at the final phase of the Erasmus+ Students and Alumni Alliance (ESAA) Impact Forum 2025, held on Saturday, 15th November, 2025, at the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie Conference Room, University of Abomey-Calavi, Benin.

UEW Management Meets Family of Late First Principal, Prof. Pecku

Management of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has met with the family of the late Prof. Nathaniel Kofi Pecku, the first substantive principal of the then University College of Education, Winneba (UCEW).

The meeting, held at the University’s Council Chamber, served as a formal notification of his passing and an opportunity to discuss arrangements for his funeral.

UEW Art Education Department Donates ‘Big Six’ Busts to Ghana Parliament Museum

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) through its Department of Art Education at the School of Creative Arts strengthened its contribution to national heritage with a formal donation of a bust portrait of the 'Big Six' to the newly inaugurated Ghana Parliament Museum.

The ceremony, held on Friday, 7th November 2025, marked a significant milestone for both the University and the Museum.
