Dissemination Workshop on the Revised Research Policy, UEW

The University of Education, Winneba, through the Research Policy Review Committee in collaboration with the Division of Human Resources, is organising a Dissemination Workshop on the Revised Research Policy.

The purpose of this workshop is to raise awareness and deepen understanding of the provisions, procedures, and expectations outlined in the University's Revised Research Policy.

UEW Marks Leadership Transition with Handing Over of Registrar and Internal Auditor Offices

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) on Tuesday, 30th September, 2025, held a brief ceremony to officially hand over the office of the Registrar and the Internal Auditor to newly appointed substantive officers.

The event, held at the Council Chamber, North Campus, Winneba, marked a significant transition in the University’s administrative leadership.

UEW Celebrates Dedication and Legacy at 2025 Retirees’ Send-Off Party

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) on Friday, 26th September 2025, honoured 32 distinguished staff members at a farewell party held at the SEMSA Club House, North Campus.

The event, organised by Management, celebrated the dedicated service and lasting contributions of the 2025 retirees, consisting of 14 Senior Members, six Senior Staff and 12 Junior Staff who have shaped the University’s growth and reputation over the years.

UEW Vice-Chancellor Presents State of the University Report

Prof. Stephen Jobson Mitchual, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), reiterated Management’s commitment to transparency, teamwork and shared responsibility as the driving forces behind the University’s progress.

Addressing junior and senior staff at the School of Creative Arts Theatre on Thursday, 25th September 2025, Prof. Mitchual presented a detailed report on the state of the University, outlining key achievements, ongoing projects and urgent challenges.
