The Department of History Education, Faculty of Social Science Education, University of Education, Winneba, proudly presents Ghana National History Day (GNHD) 2026.

Theme: Memory, History and Heritage for National Unity and Development

This year’s theme reinforces the strategic role of historical scholarship in shaping national consciousness, strengthening identity, and driving sustainable development. The forum will convene academics, policymakers, educators, and students to interrogate the relevance of memory and heritage in Ghana’s contemporary growth agenda.
