The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) on Thursday, 11th September, 2025, hosted the opening ceremony of the 9th International Multidisciplinary Conference for Postgraduate Students (IMCfPS) at the School of Creative Arts Theatre, Central Campus.  

Organised by the UEW Chapter of the Graduate Students’ Association of Ghana (GRASAG-UEW), the conference was held under the theme “Transforming Education for Sustainable Employment.”

The College for Distance and e-Learning (CODeL) of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has had a two-day management retreat aimed at repositioning itself as a leader in distance and e-learning in Ghana and beyond.

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) through the Institute for Teacher Education and Continuing Professional Development (ITECPD) has committed to leveraging technology to improve academic integrity and operational efficiency, strengthening its Online Student Information System (OSIS).

The Directorate of Research, Innovation and Development (DRID) of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has intensified its stakeholder engagement drive with courtesy calls on Prof. Esther Yeboah Danso-Wiredu, Pro-Vice-Chancellor and staff of the Institute for Educational Research and Innovation Studies (IERIS).

The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) on Wednesday, 3rd September, 2025, honoured the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) with a plaque for being a reliable stakeholder in sustaining the fund.
