The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) on Thursday, 11th September, 2025, hosted the opening ceremony of the 9th International Multidisciplinary Conference for Postgraduate Students (IMCfPS) at the School of Creative Arts Theatre, Central Campus.  

Organised by the UEW Chapter of the Graduate Students’ Association of Ghana (GRASAG-UEW), the conference was held under the theme “Transforming Education for Sustainable Employment.”

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) continues to achieve remarkable progress on the international research stage as five of its faculty members have jointly secured an Erasmus+ Lump Sum Grant for a project on “Inter-Continental Collaboration in Sign Language Interpreter VET Education.”

Two faculty members of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), Dr. Bright Ankudze (Project Coordinator) and Dr. Richard Agjei (Co-Investigator), have won a highly competitive Erasmus+ Lump Sum Grant to undertake research on “Empowering Entrepreneurs for a Sustainable Bioeconomy.”
