SGS-UEW Demystifies Thesis Defence for 2nd Year Postgraduate Students

The School of Graduate Studies (SGS) at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has organised a comprehensive workshop to demystify the thesis defence process for second-year postgraduate students.

The compulsory workshop, which brought together students from various disciplines, was designed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate the often-daunting thesis defence process.

Skilling For 21st Century Jobs With Competencies And Confidence

The Department of Mathematics Education, with the ICT Club of Mathematics students, in collaboration with the Institute for Liberty and Policy Innovation (ILAPI), is organising this year’s Skills and Multi-IT Summit. The Summit is a yearly programme sponsored by ILAPI and hosted by the Department of Mathematics Education and the Department's ICT Club.

The theme for this year's summit is "Skilling for 21st Century Jobs with Competencies and Confidence".

Education Minister Pledges to Integrate UEW-Trained Teachers into GES

The Minister of Education, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, has committed to integrating teachers trained at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) into the Ghana Education Service (GES).

This commitment was made during a courtesy call by a delegation from UEW, led by its Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Jobson Mitchual, on Monday, 24th February, 2025.
