The Management of the Institute for Distance Education and e-Learning (IDeL), University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has held a meeting with Heads of Host Institutions of all its Centres, to discuss and adopt comprehensive guidelines proposed by a sub-committee to regulate conduct for the resumption of tutorials amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The meeting was held at Wadoma Royale Hotel in Abuakwa, Kumasi.
UEW Student wins Highest GRASAG National Position
A final year Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Home Economics Education post-graduate student of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), Ms. Heartwill Selasi Tamakloe has emerged the National President-Elect for Graduate Students’ Association of Ghana (GRASAG) at the just-ended 26th Annual National Delegates Congress.
The Congress, held from 8-9th January, 2021, at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), saw the election of new GRASAG National Executives for 2021.
Windy Bay Partners Feed the Sick Foundation to Feed Hundreds of Patients in Four Major Hospitals
Feed the Sick Foundation, a non-governmental organisation in partnership with Radio Windy Bay,UEW has put smiles on the faces of hundreds of patients in four major hospitals in Ghana.
The project which is in its third year, saw patients from Trauma and Specialist Hospital, Winneba; Cape Coast Teaching Hospital, Koforidua Government Hospital and Korle- Bu Teaching Hospital, respectively benefitting from this year's donations.
