2nd Session of 30th Congregation: UEW Celebrates 7,951 Graduands

Prof. Stephen Jobson Mitchual, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has underscored the University’s steady growth in access, infrastructure and academic quality at the second session of its 30th Congregation.

The event commenced at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre on Wednesday, 22nd April, 2026 and is expected to climax on Saturday, 25th April, 2026.

UEW Advances Digital Procurement Agenda with Practical GHANEPS Training

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) advanced its commitment to transparent and efficient procurement with a practical, technology-driven training on day two of its four-day capacity-building programme for management and procurement staff.

Held on Tuesday, 14th April 2026, at the North Campus Mini-Conference Room and organised with the Public Procurement Authority (PPA), the session focused on operationalising the Ghana Electronic Procurement System (GHANEPS).

UEW, SIC Explore Expanded Partnership to Safeguard University Assets

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) and the State Insurance Company (SIC) have initiated discussions to strengthen their long-standing partnership with a focus on expanding insurance coverage, enhancing service delivery and exploring broader institutional collaboration.

This emerged during a meeting between UEW Management and a delegation from SIC at the Council Chamber on Monday, 13th April, 2026.
