A high-level delegation from the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), paid a courtesy call on Hon. Kofi Adams, Minister of Sports and Recreation, on Thursday, 13th February, 2025. The meeting aimed to foster collaboration between the Ministry and UEW, focusing on training sports professionals and establishing a college dedicated to sports education.

Members of the University Community are hereby informed that as per Statute 11 (2), which states “In the appointment of a Pro-Vice-Chancellor, the Vice-Chancellor shall nominate three (3) academic Senior Members who shall be of Professorial status with appropriate terminal degree to be voted on by Convocation”, the Vice-Chancellor has nominated the following Professors to contest for the position of Pro-Vice-Chancellor in the University of Education, Winneba:

In celebration of the 2025 International Day of Mathematics (IDM) theme, Mentoring the next generation in Collaboration with the Department of Mathematics Education of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) is thrilled to invite students, faculty, and staff to participate in a series of exciting contests designed to inspire innovation and artistry.

The management of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has received a cash donation of GH₵ 60,000 from the National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA) in support of the university’s Business Innovation Hub, as part of efforts to promote entrepreneurship and reduce unemployment among students.

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW), successfully held elections for its interim executive committee on Saturday, 1st February, 2025, paving the way for a revitalised and engaged alumni community.

With five key positions up for grabs, the eager alumni base seized the opportunity to reconnect, contribute, and shape the future of their alma mater.
