Renewal of Awards for Beneficiaries of Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship Fund, UEW – 2022/2023 Academic Year
It is announced for the information of all beneficiaries of the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship Fund of the University of Education, Winneba to submit their Results Slip to their respective Deans of Faculty/School or Study Centre Coordinators for the renewal of their awards. The Result Slip must indicate the calculated CGPA and cover up to the period ending 2021/2022 academic year.
Beneficiaries are to note that, to qualify for renewal of the award, one must maintain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0.
International Day of Women and Girls in Science, 2023
The Faculty of Science Education in conjunction with the Commonwealth Professional Fellow’s Alumni Community Engagement Fund (ACEF), Women in STEM, Faculty of Science Education, UEW, Lifegate & Effutu Education Directorate is organising training for STEM teachers and mentorship for girls in schools in rural areas. The training is scheduled to take off as follows:

The Office of Dean of Student Affairs (ODSA) wishes to inform the University Community that there is a letter inviting students for a Local Assembly (LA) meeting slated for Monday, January 30, 2023 at 4:00 pm at the New Auditorium.
The ODSA has no knowledge about the aforementioned meeting and there is no venue in UEW campus called New Auditorium as stated.
The Dean has therefore directed UEW Security to investigate and bring up a report on the matter for culprits to be sanctioned accordingly.
Nomination of Students for Erasmus+ Scholarship Tenable at the University College Copenhagen, Denmark
The Centre for International Programmes is inviting nominations from students for the Autumn 2023 Erasmus+ Grant.
Payment of Residential Facility User Fees
Management has noticed with concern, the fact that some students pay Residential Facility User Fees and other fees to unauthorized staff. Management, therefore, writes to inform all students to ensure that they pay all fees into only designated UEW Bank Accounts.
Any student who makes payment to individual staff does so at their own risk.

The Directorate of Health Services wishes to inform the University Community that the University Clinic has extended its coverage of care to 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The extension of services took effect from Monday, 16th January 2023.
Scheduled OPD care begins and closes at 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. daily.
