1. Diploma in Basic Education (Regular & Sandwich)

The Diploma in Basic Education programme addresses the need for well-trained teachers in Ghana, focusing on improving student outcomes through comprehensive, generalist training. It provides a broad foundation in all subjects, aligning with national education goals and preparing graduates to effectively teach at the basic education level and pursue advanced studies.

The School of Business (SoB) at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has been crowned Southwest Zonal Champion in a fiercely contested Tertiary Business Sense Challenge (TBSC) v6.0. UEW emerged victorious with an impressive total of 65 points, showcasing consistent excellence throughout five intense rounds.

In an initiative poised to revolutionise educational practices, researchers from the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) have been awarded a grant from Studiosity, a leading global education technology provider based in Sydney, Australia.

This collaboration aims to explore the ethical implications and effectiveness of AI-powered learning support systems on student success and overall learning experiences.

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) Chaplaincy Committee has held its second Interdenominational and Thanksgiving Service for the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic year.

The Department of Political Science Education (DPSE) at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has celebrated a pivotal milestone as it marked its 10th anniversary with a powerful public lecture at the Kojo Baah Wiredu Lecture Theatre III.

The event, held under the theme "A Decade of Political Science Education in Nation-Building," underscored the indispensable role of political education in shaping the nation.
