UEW to Host Maiden Edition of the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Annual Public Lecture on TVET Transformation in Africa

The University of Education, Winneba – School of Creative Arts, in collaboration with the Centre for Research in Culture and Creative Arts (CeRCCA) and Exploring Visual Cultures, invites scholars, practitioners, and researchers to participate in the Creative Arts and Culture International Research Conference 2026.

Theme:
Sankofaism: Unearthing, Unlearning/Learning and Uplifting Sustainable Creative Arts and Cultural Practices and Methods

The School of Business (SoB) at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has hosted a youth engagement to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), urging students to play a central role in advancing the region’s integration and development agenda.

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) hosted the 2026 Ghana National History Day (GNHD) celebration at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre on Wednesday, 4th March, 2026, under the theme “Memory, History and Heritage for National Unity and Development.”

The Centre for Hearing and Speech Services (CHSS) at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has commemorated this year’s World Hearing Day with a seminar to strengthen awareness, early detection and inclusive classroom practices for children with hearing challenges.

The Department of Music Education, in collaboration with the School of Creative Arts (SCA) at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), hosted a reggae concert titled SoundFlames Reloaded Reggae Night with the Pop Band.
