Vacation Music Camp 2025
The Department of Music Education, University of Education, Winneba is organising a Vacation Camp during this long vacation. It is an eight-week intensive preparation in Rudiments and Theory of Music combined with practical music-making activities.

The School of Graduate Studies invites qualified candidates to apply for its full‑time, three‑year Doctor of Philosophy in Biology Education programme. UEW Pledges to Strengthen Partnership with EMA
The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has reaffirmed its commitment to deepening collaboration with the Effutu Municipal Assembly (EMA) following a courtesy visit by the newly appointed Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Rev. Atta Mensah, an alumnus of the institution.
The meeting, held at the Council Chamber of the University, brought together key members of UEW management and other senior administrators in what was described as a “homecoming” moment for the new MCE.
Peer Assistants Undergo Training in Mental Health
The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) through its Counselling Centre has taken a step to enhance student well-being by launching a Peer Assistant Programme under the theme “Building Peer Support Competence: Empowering Student Helpers for Holistic Well-being.”
This initiative is designed to equip selected students with essential skills to serve as the first point of contact for peers navigating emotional, academic or social challenges.
