The Institute for Educational Research and Innovation Studies (IERIS), University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has held its maiden annual lecture series to assess the state of education in Ghana.

The lecture, held at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre, was under the theme "Education in Ghana: Past, Present, and Future: A Focus on Policy Reforms from an Academic Perspective".

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW)'s Centre for School and Community Science and Technology (SACOST) has trained postgraduate students in the art of writing compelling research proposals.

The training took place on Thursday, 27th July, 2023, at the Institute for Educational Research and Innovation Studies (IERIS) Conference Room in Winneba. It was an academic seminar under the theme "Writing a Dissertation Research Proposal: Nuances, Imperatives, and Possibilities".

The Department of Geography Education, University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has organised a weeklong activity to commemorate its 10-year anniversary celebration.

The activities included the unveiling of the anniversary logo, a float, a tree planting exercise, awareness creation on radio, a Geographic Information System (GIS) workshop for the youth mappers, a career guidance workshop, inter-graduate and inter-senior high school quizzes, a seminar, and fun games. All the activities took place from Friday, 21st to Friday, 28th July, 2023, in Winneba. 

The Department of Theatre Arts, UEW, is organizing a Vacation Theatre Camp during this long vacation. It is an intensive but interactive training programme on the introductory aspects of Theatre Arts (Acting, Scriptwriting, Directing, Technical Theatre, etc.).

Senior High School Leavers interested in pursuing a degree or diploma in Theatre Arts.

Persons who are already in the Theatre/Film industry.

Persons who have interest in Acting or Script Development or Dance.
