CAS-UEW Celebrates Maiden Departmental Week, Eyes Future Growth

The Centre for African Studies (CAS) at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has marked a historic milestone by celebrating its maiden Departmental Week, underscoring its commitment to fostering educational growth and cultural pride.

The weeklong event at the North Campus of UEW centred around the theme “Promoting Life-Long Learning for Africa’s Development,” featured a vibrant showcase of indigenous Ghanaian culture.

INFOCTESS-UEW Holds Summit for Final Year Students

In a significant initiative aimed at equipping final-year students with essential tools for their future careers, the Information and Communication Technology Education Students (INFOCTESS) at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) held a summit, dubbed “Beyond the Degree.”

The event took place at the North Campus Mini-Conference Room of UEW and attracted a diverse audience of students, educators, and industry professionals.

Admissions Open: UEW Basic School

The Directorate of Basic Schools is delighted to announce that admissions are open for pre-school (crèche to primary) at UEW Basic School, North Campus, Winneba. The school is committed to delivering the highest standards of basic education, ensuring the best practices in early learning.
