Prof. Duku Donates to SCA-UEW

Prof. Frimpong Kaakyire Duku, an alumnus and lecturer at the School of Creative Arts (SCA) at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has donated four projectors and additional learning resources to the faculty.

His contribution reflects his dedication to fostering innovation and ensuring students and educators have the tools to thrive.

Notice to all Fresh Students - Medical Examinations Modalities

The Directorate of Health Services wishes to inform all fresh students that the medical examinations for the 2025 academic year are scheduled to take place as follows:  

Date: 27th January 2025 – 21st March 2025

 
Time: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (each working day)  

Venues:  
  1. Centre for Hearing and Speech Services (CHSS) – Ear Screening @ South Campus  
  2. University Clinic
– All other processes @ North Campus

UEW GUSA Games Team Presents Prizes to Management

Team University of Education, Winneba (UEW) for the 28th Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) games, on Wednesday, 22nd January, 2025, presented its awards with a comprehensive report to the University Management, at the Council Chamber of UEW.

The team consisting of 270 athletes and 40 officials, placed third, securing 14 gold, 18 silver and nine (9) bronze medals across all competitions.

SACOST-UEW and Asustem Robotics Partner to Drive STEM Education and Community Innovation

The Centre for School and Community Science and Technology Studies (SACOST) at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Asustem Robotics Academy to advance science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education and technology-based community development initiatives across Ghana.

UEW Library Orientation 2025

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) Library invites all new students to an orientation at the Osagyefo Library, South Campus, Winneba on Friday, 24th January, 2025.

This library orientation is designed to introduce new students to the University Libraries, acquaint them with library resources and services, and provide essential guidelines, policies, and procedures that will be helpful during their studies.

Directives for Registration of Courses on the Student Information Portal for Continuing Students

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) announces that Registration for the 1st semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year has been activated for all continuing regular students. Students are urged to follow the laid-down directives as stipulated in this notice and the various student handbooks to ensure smooth and efficient operations for all stakeholders.
