UEW and Partners Hold Inception Workshop for Sustainable Wetland Management
The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) and its partners have engaged stakeholders in an inception workshop in the Western Region of Ghana to refine project strategies and strengthen collaboration for the sustainable management of the Greater Amanzule Wetland System.
The two-day workshop, titled the Integrated Land and Water Management of the Greater Amanzule Wetland System (ILWGAWS) Project, was held at the Tenack Beach Resort in Beyin from Thursday, 8th to Friday, 9th May, 2025.

UEW Management Introduces New Council Chair to Chancellor
Management of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) on Thursday, 8th May 2025, paid a courtesy call on the Chancellor, Neenyi Ghartey VII, to formally introduce the newly appointed Council Chair, Justice Jacob Charles Amonoo-Monney.
The high-level meeting was led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Jobson Mitchual, and attended by key management members, including Mrs. Wilhelmina Tete-Mensah, Acting Registrar, and Dr. Theophilus Senyo Ackorlie, Finance Officer.
