The Gender Mainstreaming Directorate (GMD) of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has organised a capacity-building programme to equip female senior members with practical knowledge of emerging technologies and artificial intelligence (AI).  

This initiative is designed to enhance work-life integration and improve service delivery within the university.

Management of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) in collaboration with the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the 29th Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) Games, on Tuesday, 16th December, 2025, held a high-level meeting with the National Executive members of GUSA to review the University’s preparedness to host the prestigious multi-sport event.

The University of Education, Winneba wishes to inform all staff, students, and stakeholders that the official Christmas and New Year break will commence on Monday, 22nd December 2025, and end on Friday, 2nd January 2026. Regular academic and administrative work will resume on Monday, 5th January 2026.

A high-level delegation from Astria Learning, a global educational technology organisation based in Tampa, Florida, has engaged the Management of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), in discussions about a potential partnership aimed at launching an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered eCampus at the university.
