UEW Receives Heartfelt Appreciation from Panfokrom Technical Institute

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has received commendation from Panfokrom Technical Institute for its generous donation which has significantly enhanced the quality of teaching and learning at the institute.
During their visit to the University, the delegation from Panfokrom Technical Institute conveyed their heartfelt thanks for the University’s crucial assistance in implementing a technical system for time management that is now completely operational at their institution.

“When the technicians came to install the system, it was a moment of joy for all of us. The system is functioning very well and we assure you that it will be used wisely to benefit our students and fulfill its intended purpose,” Mr. Eric Antwi stated.
They were led by Ms. Alfreda Dede Oppong, Principal of Panfokrom Technical Institute. She was accompanied by a facilitator, Mr. Eric Antwi.

Receiving the delegation on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Esther Yeboah Danso-Wiredu, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of UEW, expressed the University’s joy at seeing its efforts yield tangible results.
"As a university, we are thrilled that this support has brought smiles to your faces. We hope the equipment is well maintained so it can serve your institute for many years. More importantly, we appreciate your thoughtfulness in returning to express your gratitude."
Prof. Esther Danso-Wiredu encouraged the Panfokrom team to see UEW not just as a donor but as an academic partner. “Please see UEW as a very important partner in shaping your students’ futures. We have many programmes that can support their educational development. Our doors are always open, should you want our admissions team to visit your school to explain what we offer.”

Also present at the brief ceremony was Mr. John Kweku Oppong, University Lawyer, who revealed that UEW’s Admissions Office had already been informed about the potential for outreach to Panfokrom as part of its enrolment drive. “They are planning to come over and speak to your students,” he said, adding that further collaboration is welcome.
The Panfokrom delegation presented a token of appreciation to UEW as a symbol of their gratitude. “This is our small way of saying thank you. We always hope for more—not just physical projects but academic partnerships that will benefit us as facilitators and most importantly, our students,” Ms. Alfreda Oppong said.

She also noted the broader impact of the donation on the Panfokrom community. “Even the chief and others in the area noticed something had changed when the system was activated. They were excited and eager to know what had happened. It is something that will be remembered and UEW’s name will be part of that memory.”
The heartfelt appreciation visit by Panfokrom Technical Institute to the UEW marks a significant milestone in their partnership. UEW's donation has not only enhanced teaching and learning at the institute but also fostered a spirit of collaboration and community.
This marks the beginning of a productive relationship that will benefit both institutions and most importantly, their students. With gratitude, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to education, UEW and Panfokrom Technical Institute are paving the way for a brighter future.
