The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) hosted the 2025 International Multidisciplinary Conference of the Education Dialogue Association (EDUDIA) from Tuesday, 5th to Wednesday, 6th August, 2025, at the North Campus Mini-Conference Room and Students Centre, respectively. 

The Department of Physics Education at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) took a step to bridge the gap between academic life and professional readiness with a comprehensive career guidance seminar held under the theme, "So, What Next After School?"

The Department of Chemistry Education at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has inaugurated the first-ever executive of the UEW Student Chapter of the American Chemical Society (ACS), marking a historic milestone in the University’s commitment to producing globally competitive chemists. 

The ceremony, held at Lecture Theatre 7, South Campus, on Thursday, 7th August 2025, was themed “Empowering the 21st-Century Chemist for Global Impact.”

The School of Creative Arts (SCA) at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), in collaboration with celebrated musician and scholar, Prof. Mark-Millas Fish hosted a Highlife Centenary Concert from Tuesday, 5th to Saturday, 9th August, 2025, at the SCA Theatre.

The School of Education and Life-long Learning (SELLL) at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) strengthened postgraduate research supervision across its departments through an insightful and engaging seminar.  

The seminar took place at the Students Centre Seminar Room II on Thursday, 24th July, 2025. The initiative is part of a broader commitment to promoting excellence, professionalism and ethical rigour in postgraduate education.

The Centre for African Studies (CAS) at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) held a durbar as part of its week-long celebration under the theme “Educating the Young African: Reclaiming African Knowledge Systems.”

The Chancellor of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), Neenyi Ghartey VII, who also serves as the Paramount Chief of the Effutu Traditional Area, received a seven-member delegation from the University community at his palace on Friday, 1st August, 2025.

UEW MOURNS THE LOSS OF NATIONAL HEROES IN ASHANTI REGION HELICOPTER TRAGEDY

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW), held its Convocation on Tuesday, 29th July 2025, at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre, North Campus, Winneba.

Chaired by Prof. Stephen Jobson Mitchual, Vice-Chancellor of the University, the gathering brought together teaching and administrative staff to discuss key institutional issues and the progress report.
