Mega Exhibition and Fashion Show | Department of Integrated Home Economics Education

The Department of Integrated Home Economics Education, Faculty of Home Economics Education is inviting the University community to a Mega Exhibition and Fashion Show by the level 300 and 400 students in the Department. The event is scheduled to take off as follows:

Second Semester Examinations and Level 400 Students’ Results

This is to inform all students of the University of Education, Winneba that the conduct of the End of Semester Examinations for the 2021/2022 Academic Year will take place as scheduled.

The ones that were interrupted by students will be rescheduled. All Deans and Heads of the Department are to note and act accordingly and communicate the dates to their students when rescheduled.

All Level 400 students are to note the following:

SIP on Maintenance Mode for Speedy Upload of Results

Management would like to apologise for any misunderstanding that our earlier circular titled “SIP SYSTEM SHUTDOWN FOR SYSTEM MAINTENANCE” may have caused. The suspension of access to student portals is mainly due to the upload of some bulk results that were received from various departments during the Help Centre verification exercise. This is to enable the technical team speedily upload outstanding results received during the above-mentioned exercise.

Models for Digital Data Literacy in Africa and Digital Repositories as Open Educational Resources | Workshop

Point Sud, GOETHE, and DFG in collaboration with the Centre for International Programmes (CIP), University of Education, Winneba present a 5-day International Workshop on Models for Digital Data Literacy in Africa and Digital Repositories as Open Educational Resources. The Workshop would take off as follows: 

Date: 3rd to 7th October 2022

Time: 9:00am - 5:00pm each day 

Venue: Seminar Room 3, Students Centre, North Campus

Invitation to all Outgone and Present Course Coordinators to Participate in Help Centre for Level 400 Students

All outgone and present course coordinators as a matter of urgency are required to converge at the Help Centre at the Students Centre from Wednesday 28th September 2022 to the 5th of October, 2022 from 9 am to 4 pm each day. They will be required to work with the SRO staff to ensure that issues reported are resolved immediately.

Due to the fact that some officers are new on the job, the outgone officers are to join in the exercise and work with the team to ensure that all outstanding issues are resolved.

Display of Level 400 Results on the Online Portal

Level 400 students of the University are being informed that they have been migrated to the Online Student Information System (OSIS) from ITS ERP. This directive from Management is to resolve all outstanding issues with the display of updated transcripts in their portals. OSIS is the system that has been previously used to graduate students and most recently was used in graduating students for the  2020/2021 academic year.
