Seminar on Responsible AI for Generative Models

The Department of ICT Education, in collaboration with Google Research, invites the university community and the general public to an insightful seminar on Responsible AI for Generative Models.

Generative AI is revolutionizing various industries, from content creation to automation, but its ethical implications remain a critical concern. This seminar will explore fairness, bias mitigation, transparency, and real-world applications of responsible AI practices.

Resumption of Medical Examination for Freshmen

The Directorate of Health Services wishes to inform all staff and fresh students that the medical examinations for the 2025 academic year has resumed.

All first-year students who have not undergone their medical examination screening and those yet to complete are required to do so before the deadline.

The medical examination for the 2025 academic year will end on the 15th April 2025 and students are hereby advised to visit the University Clinic at their designated appointment schedules to complete the medical screening examination.

UEW Strengthens International Ties Through Project Framewalk with German Delegation

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW), reaffirmed its commitment to international collaboration as it welcomed a delegation from Germany as part of the ongoing Project Framewalk.

The initiative, which fosters cultural exchange and artistic collaboration, is the result of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between UEW, Haduwa Arts and Culture Institute, and a Germany-based Kabawil E. V.
