Management of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) on Tuesday, 2nd March, 2021, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a non-governmental not-for-profit organisation, SHAPE Attitude Ghana at the Council Chamber, North Campus, UEW. 

A first-degree holder and alumnus of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), Mr. Riffath Yakub Abubakar, is thriving in several renowned businesses, where he seeks to motivate the youth to be resourceful and economically useful in the country.  

A Non-Governmental Organisation with the vision to spearhead development through research, Youth Legacy Ghana (Yoleg) in partnership with the Department of Geography Education under the Faculty of Social Sciences Education (FSSE), has organised Ghana Wetlands Sustainability Conference, 2021, to mark World Wetlands Day celebration.

The colloquium, which took place at the School of Creative Arts Conference Room, on Tuesday, 16th February, 2021, was held under the theme, “Wetlands and Water – Inseparable Vitals for Life”.

A Traditional all-Female Hall of Residence at South Campus of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), the Kwegyir Aggrey Hall on Saturday, 6th February, 2021, undertook a holistic clean-up exercise to keep the environment clean, safe and secure for its occupants.   

Ms. Heartwill Selasi Tamakloe, a Master of Philosophy, Home Economics Education Student of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), who won the Graduate Students’ Association of Ghana (GRASAG) National Presidency Election at its 26th Annual National Delegates Congress, has been sworn into office. 

The Department of Geography Education under the Faculty of Social Sciences Education on Wednesday, 19th January, 2021, held a departmental meeting with fresh and continuing students at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre, North Campus, Winneba.
