At the close of nominations on Wednesday, 26th August, 2026, the following persons have been nominated to contest for election as Convocation Representatives on UEW Governing Council:

  1. Winneba Campus                                                         
  • Surv. John Kweku Oppong, Esq - Legal Office
  • Rev. Dr. E. T. Amanor – Lartey - Department of Political Science Education
  • Prof. Michael Subbey - Department of Early Childhood Education
  • Dr. Stephen Osei Akyiaw - Department of Strategic Communication
  1. Ajumako Campus
  • Dr. Pascal Kpodo - Department of Ewe Education, Ajumako Campus
  • Surv. Richard Afriyie, Esq - Estate Section, Ajumako Campus

Elections shall be held on Monday 14th September, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the venues indicated below:

  • Winneba Campus: Division of Human Resource, Foyer first floor of Emmanuel Kwasi Ampene Building, North Campus.
  • Ajumako Campus: Forecourt of the College Library

Voting shall be by secret ballot.
