Second Chaplaincy Week Celebrations
The University Chaplaincy wishes to inform and invite the entire University Community to join them in their Second Chaplaincy Week Celebrations. Activities to mark the celebrations are scheduled as follows:

Promotion Exercise for Junior and Senior Staff
Applications are invited from qualified Senior and Junior Staff of the University for the July 2021 promotions. Requests for application forms should be directed to the Registrar.
Application and Assessment Forms will be sent only to applicants who meet the criteria for promotion as outlined in the “PROMOTION PROCEDURES FOR SENIOR/JUNIOR STAFF OF THE UNIVERSITY”.
Conduct of Mid-Semester Examinations
The Mid-Semester Examinations have been scheduled to take place from Sunday, 25th July - Saturday, 31st July 2021.
In line with the above, the following measures should guide the conduct of the mid-semester examinations:
Call for Applications | Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship Fund - 2021/2022
Applications are invited from qualified undergraduate students to access the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship Fund (VCSF) for brilliant but needy students for the 2021/2022 academic year.
Mode of Submission
Completed application forms should be submitted to the Dean of Faculty or Principal, CODeL latest by Friday, 22nd October, 2021.
Students on Distance Education programme should submit completed application forms to the Principal of CODeL through their Study Centre Coordinators.
Closing Date: Friday, 22nd October, 2021
Online Signing of Distance Education Matriculation Register | 2020/2021
All First-Year Distance Education Students of the University are informed that as part of efforts to curb the spread of the COVID-19, the signing of the Matriculation Register will be done online.
It is important to note that ONLY STUDENTS WHO REGISTER WILL HAVE THEIR NAME IN THE MATRICULATION BROCHURE.
The closing date for this Matriculation Registration exercise is Sunday, 15th August, 2021.
The procedure for the registration is as follows:
GUSSS Holds Stakeholders Meeting
The Ghana Universities Staff Superannuation Scheme (GUSSS), University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has held a meeting to present to its members the Financial Reports as of 31st March, 2021 and status of GUSSS.
The meeting held at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Auditorium, North Campus, Winneba, highlighted the 2021 Annual Budget and Operating Plans of the scheme as reviewed by the Management Board and approved by the University Council.
Change of Name of Academic Department
We wish to inform the University community that the Department of Banking and Finance in the School of Business of the University is now known as the Department of Applied Finance and Policy Management.
The change in name was approved by the Academic Board of the University at its meeting held on Tuesday, 23rd February, 2021.
Fee Payment and End-of-Semester Examinations
Management has favourably considered appeals from students who made part-payment of fees to enable them to register and participate in the End-of-Semester Examinations.
Management wishes to inform such affected students to submit their names with evidence of part-payment to their Heads of Department by 5:00pm, Tuesday, 13th April, 2021 to facilitate their registration and participation in the End-of-Semester Examinations.

Second Session of the 25th Congregation
Management of the University wishes to inform students, stakeholders and the general public that the University's second session of the 25th Congregation scheduled to take place in April, 2021 will be organised in May, 2021.
The mode, venue, date and time of the Congregation will be communicated soon.

Easter Break, 2021
It is announced for the information of all staff and students of the University that the 2021 Easter Break will begin from 12:00 noon on Thursday, 1st April 2021, and end on Monday, 5th April 2021.
Business will resume on Tuesday, 6th April 2021.
Heads in the following departments sections should select staff to work during the break: Clinic Maintenance (Electricians), Sanitary, Conservancy, Hall Administration, Transport, Security and Grounds Gardens.
Management wishes all staff and students a Happy Easter.
