Visit by Level 400 Physics Education Students to the Osagyefo Library

The Level 400 Physics Education students from the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), as part of their course “Technology in Physics Education” for the second semester, visited the Osagyefo Library on July 4, 2024, upon the request of their lecturer Prof. M. K. Amedeker. The purpose of this visit was to familiarise themselves with the library's resources and services, understand how technological advancements support physics education through these resources, and prepare for their term essays.

UEW Begins Dissemination Workshop Series on Digital Literacy Skills

The team of scholars from the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), undertaking the GOT Mobility Project funded by the Erasmus+ consortium, has embarked on a project to enhance the digital literacy skills of lecturers through a series of dissemination workshops.

This initiative aims to equip educators with contemporary digital tools, including AI-powered resources like ChatGPT and automated PowerPoint presentation generators.

UEW Staff Present Key Research on Academic Integrity in Athens

In a significant contribution to the global discourse on research integrity, two faculty members from the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), have presented enlightening studies at the 8th World Conference on Research Integrity held from 2nd to 5th June, 2024.

The two senior members are Dr. Fred Yao Gbagbo, Head of the Department of Health Administration and Education, and Dr. Pearl Nana Yaa Adubea Hammond, Faculty Officer of the School of Creative Arts (SCA).
