Dr. Nyamawero Navei is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Research in Culture and Creative Arts (CeRCCA), University of Education, Winneba (UEW), where he also earned his PhD in Arts and Culture. A forward-thinking and adaptable scholar, he applies a postcolonial lens to revitalise indigenous African arts and cultural traditions and to reconstruct authentic Ghanaian epistemologies. His interdisciplinary research intersects art education, technical and vocational education, the creative economy, and digital innovation. Driven by a commitment to livelihood empowerment, national development, and ecological sustainability, his work transforms artistic production into practical pathways for economic resilience. An expert in curriculum development, Dr. Navei served as a Subject Area Expert for Ghana's Ministry of Education from April 2024 to August 2025, developing the Years 1, 2, and 3 Art and Design Studio learner materials for the Senior High/Technical Schools (SHTS) Visual Arts programme. Collaborative and innovative, he brings strong analytical and research skills to UEW, where he actively advances research excellence and institutional development.
