Prof Mitchual , Stephen Jobson

I am a Professor in Wood Science and Technology with additional training in management. I have over twenty years professional and research experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels of tertiary education. I am a highly enthusiastic, adaptive, and fast-learning person with a broad and acute interest in leadership at the tertiary level of education. I am also a highly organised, diplomatic, visionary and dedicated academic and an administrator with proven ability to improve working environments to achieve set goals. I relate very well with my colleagues, subordinates and superiors. I also have high integrity and intuition in making decisions. I have good knowledge of the structures, processes and governance of tertiary institutions in Ghana. I particularly enjoy collaborating with academics and other professionals to achieve targets. My motivation is to support students, colleague lecturers and non-academic staff with the rich experience I have acquired through teaching, research and leadership.
