Naa Watson-Nortey, Korkor Leeyoo

Naa Korkor is interested in the study of Rhetoric and Traditional African Communication, Traditional Forensic Rhetoric, Cultural Sustainability of Traditional Communication Practices and African Indigenous Knowledge. She investigates to find out the role played by language in discourse, indigenous practices in Africa and the sustainability of different forms of discourse. Naa Korkor has a cotutelle PhD degree from the University of Hildesheim, Germany and the University of Cape Coast, Cape Cost, Ghana. She has a Master of Philosophy Degree in Communication and Media Studies, Communication Skills option from the University of Education Winneba, a  Bachelor’s Degree in English (Major) from the University of Cape Coast and a certificate as a trained teacher from Mount Mary Training College, Somanya.  She has effective teamwork skills and can work with little or no supervision.
As part of her experiences in the past, she has developed an attribute of dynamism and selfless dedication to duties assigned to her.
