Dr Victus Kumazah is a Research Fellow at the Centre for School and Community Science and Technology Studies (SACOST), University of Education, Winneba, Ghana. He is an education researcher with expertise in Mathematics Education, Teacher Education, Assessment, STEM Education, impact evaluation, and evidence-informed development. He holds a PhD in Mathematics Education and has extensive experience in research design, quantitative and mixed-methods analysis, data management, grant development, and project evaluation. At SACOST, Dr Kumazah contributes to research and innovation initiatives that connect schools, communities, and educational stakeholders to address educational challenges and promote practical and sustainable solutions. His scholarly work focuses on strengthening teaching and learning, advancing STEM education, informing educational policy, and generating evidence to support development. He has contributed to research and innovation projects supported by organisations including the American Chemical Society, British Council, UNESCO, T-TEL, Kayma, and Google and has published in mathematics and STEM education. Dr Kumazah is committed to strengthening research capacity, supporting evidence-informed decision-making, and building partnerships that connect research, policy, practice, and community impact in Ghana and beyond. His broader interests include education systems, teacher development, data-driven decision-making, and impact evaluation.
