Graduate Academic Success Summit | GRASAG-UEW Week Celebration

The Graduate Students’ Association of Ghana, University of Education, Winneba Chapter (GRASAG-UEW), will hold its 2026 Week Celebration from Monday, 3rd August to Friday, 7th August 2026.

The week-long celebration will feature a series of activities designed to promote academic excellence, entrepreneurship, student wellness, professional networking and leadership development among graduate students.

Day One: Graduate Academic Success Summit

The celebration will commence with the Graduate Academic Success Summit, which will provide participants with practical guidance on graduate research and career development.

Time: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Venue: North Assembly Hall, UEW

The summit will feature the following lectures:

Lecture 1

Topic: Obtaining Ethical Clearance for Graduate Research: Requirements, Procedures and Common Pitfalls

Guest Speaker:
Prof. Akwasi Kwarteng Amoako-Gyampah
Vice-Dean, School of Graduate Studies, UEW

Lecture 2

Topic: Developing Competitive CVs for Employment and Further Studies

Guest Speaker:
Dr Vera Ami Ayitey
Lecturer, School of Business, UEW

Another major highlight of the week will be the GRASAG-UEW Mighty Power Business and Networking Summit. The event will feature Mr Eric Amoa-Danquah, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mighty Power Groups of Companies, as Guest of Honour, and Mr Sofo Tanko Rashid Computer, Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC), as Guest Speaker. Other distinguished industry professionals are also expected to participate.
