Entry Requirement

Category A: Senior High School (SHS) Certificate Holders / Direct Applicants

  1. Must have passes in six (6) subjects with an overall aggregate of 24 or better. Three (3) of the six (6) must be core subjects (English Language, Mathematics and Science/Integrated Science) and three (3) Electives in relevant subjects.

 

  1. Must have at least grade C6 (WASSCE) or D (SSSCE) in the relevant Ghanaian language, (one of the language pair) and at least C4 or C in English language.

 

Category B: Mature Applicants

  1. Must be at least 25 years by 1st September of the academic year one wants to enroll.
  2. Must hold:
  3. Teachers Certificate “A”

Or

  1. SHS/SSS Certificate or Certificate of Professional Training from a recognized Institution.
  2. Must pass the UEW Entrance Examination

 

Category C: Professional Certificates and Diplomas

Professional Certificate and Diploma holders are admitted into the programme depending on the assessment of the certificate/diploma and performance at interview.
