VCCIP | Financial Support for Needy Students

The Vice-Chancellor’s Community Initiative Programme is accepting applications from qualified students for financial support for the 2025/2026 academic year.

This initiative is designed to provide financial assistance to underprivileged indigenes of the Effutu and Ajumako Traditional Areas to pursue tertiary education at the University of Education, Winneba. Priority consideration will be given to students enrolled in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) programmes.

The support is structured to remove key financial barriers and ensure beneficiaries can focus on their academic success.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:
i. Be a native of the Effutu or Ajumako Traditional Area;
ii. Have gained admission into the University of Education, Winneba, for the 2025/2026 academic year.

Value of Support

The financial assistance covers:
a) Tuition; and
b) Accommodation.

Application Process

Interested and qualified applicants are required to download and complete the official application form.

The completed form must be submitted to the School of Graduate Studies Secretariat on or before the stated deadline.

Deadline

27th February, 2026

Late applications will not be accepted. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.

Applicants are encouraged to act promptly and ensure full compliance with all application requirements.
