UEW to Host Two-Day Electric Vehicle Exhibition

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW), in collaboration with the Green Shift Initiative (GSI), will host a two-day exhibition of electric vehicles aimed at exposing the University community to sustainable transportation technologies and innovations.

The exhibition is scheduled as follows:

• Date: Thursday, 16th July and Friday, 17th July, 2026
• Time: 9:00 a.m.
• Venue:
  • GUSSS Mall Car Park (for exhibition of electric vehicles)
  • Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre Car Park (for test driving)

The event will bring together electric vehicle dealers, bankers and other technical resource persons who will provide participants with valuable information on electric mobility, financing options and emerging technologies. Participants will also have the opportunity to test drive electric vehicles on campus, offering a practical firsthand experience of the technology.

Members of the University community are warmly invited to attend and take advantage of this unique opportunity to learn about the future of sustainable transportation, interact with industry experts and experience electric vehicles firsthand.
