FSSE-UEW Empowers Postgraduate Scholars with E-Learning Expertise

In its commitment to academic excellence and innovation, the Faculty of Social Sciences Education (FSSE) at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), organised a transformative e-learning workshop for postgraduate scholars to harness the full potential of digital resources in their academic pursuits.

Held at the Student Centre Seminar Room III, North Campus, Winneba, on Wednesday, 20th March, 2024, the workshop convened an assemblage of scholars eager to navigate the dynamic landscape of electronic learning and research.

Under the theme "Assessing and Using Library Resources for Research and Academic Work," the workshop served as a beacon of enlightenment, unveiling an array of e-learning and research platforms meticulously curated to bolster scholarly endeavours within the FSSE community. Prof. Anselm K. Abotsi, Dean of FSSE, and Ms. Pearl Joan Korkuvi, an Assistant Librarian at the Osagyefo Library, led participants on the transformative journey towards digital proficiency and scholarly excellence.

Prof. Abotsi exhorted postgraduate scholars to foster collaborative relationships with faculty members, viewing them not merely as instructors but as potential mentors and collaborators in their academic journey. Emphasising the importance of cultivating strong rapport, Prof. Abotsi instilled a spirit of camaraderie and mutual support among attendees, laying the groundwork for a collaborative learning environment.
