INTRODUCTION À LA LITTÉRATURE FRANÇAISE POUR LES ÉTUDIANTS ANGLOPHONES

This book explores and expands students’ knowledge of literature with particular focus on French literature. It consolidates the knowledge acquired by the students in francophone African oral literature and helps them to appreciate commonalities between literary creation in Africa and the western world. It traces the origin of literature in France and discusses some of the oral literary forms that exist in France. It also provides tools and strategies that will guide students to read, understand and appreciate literary works in French.
