M.Phil. Clothing and Textiles

A candidate seeking admission into this programme should have obtained:

1. A B.Ed. Home Economics (Clothing and Textiles) degree with a grading with a minimum qualification

   Second Class Lower.

2. A Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economics Education from University of Education, Winneba with a

   grading a minimum qualification of Second Class Lower.

3. A Bachelor of Home Science, Family and Consumer Science (Clothing and Textiles) or an equivalent

   qualification from any other university recognised by the GTEC with a grading with a minimum

   qualification of Second Class Lower.

4. B.Tech. B.Sc. and B.A. Fashion and Design/Textiles with grade B or CGPA of 3.0 or better.

5. Candidates with M.Ed. in Home Economics (Clothing and Textiles) and M.Tech. Fashion Design and

   Textiles should have grade B or CGPA of 3.0 or better in one (1) year top.

6. Foreign applicants from accredited institutions with equivalent qualifications will be considered for

   admission after verification of certificate by GTEC.

7. In addition, applicants must pass a selection interview to be conducted by the department
