Workshop on Assessment Item Construction

The Department of Social Studies Education, in collaboration with the Centre for African Studies, is pleased to announce a One-Day Workshop on Assessment Item Construction for Lecturers.

The training will focus on the construction of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Essay-Type Questions, emphasising principles of validity, assessment techniques, and best practices in student assessment. The workshop aims to promote best practices in student assessment and improve the quality of teaching and learning within the University.
