The University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has been significantly strengthened in its public lecture series through a generous donation of GH₵30,000 from the UEW Cooperative Credit Union (UEWCCU).
This contribution, the first institutional support of its kind for this lecture series, which coincides with UEWCCU's 30th anniversary, underscores the deepening collaboration between the university and the Cooperative Credit Union in advancing research and innovation.
A remarkable gesture of kindness was witnessed at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), when a second-year student marked his birthday by donating a wheelchair to a Level 100 colleague, Mr. Ebenezer Gawu.
The donor, Mr. Ebenezer Annobil from the Department of Management Sciences, partnered with the Annobil Foundation to make this possible. Inspired by his encounters with Mr. Gawu, the act reflects UEW’s strong culture of compassion and solidarity among its students.
