Mature Applicant
An applicant seeking admission through the Mature Entry mode to the University of Education, Winneba must:
- Be Twenty-Five (25) years of age by 30th September, 2025 (A proof of age with documents such as birth certificate, Ghana Card, Social Security and National Insurance Trust Card and Passport would be required).
- Have a minimum of GCE/ SSSCE/WASSCE/ DBS or RSA/TVET Certificate. He/She must also have at least 2 years of working experience in the relevant area.
- Pass an Entrance Examination in General Aptitude Test (GAT) and Subject Area Test (SAT) to be organized by the University. However, Mature applicants seeking admission to pursue Special Education would also be required to pass another SAT

- Time: 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
- Venue: Winneba-UEW, North Campus

Please note that applicants who are scheduled and invited to sit the mature-entrance examination are required to pay an examination fee. The exact amount and payment instructions will be provided in their invitation.
