Vacation Theatre Arts Camp 2026
The Department of Theatre Arts, University of Education, Winneba will be organising a Vacation Theatre Arts Camp. It is an intensive but interactive training which will cover the following areas: Introduction to Creative Arts and Design Education, Introduction to Performing Arts Education, Acting, Directing and TV/Film Production
Eligible Applicants
- Senior High School Leavers who satisfy the minimum requirements for admission into UEW.
- Persons who are already in the Theatre/Film industry.
- Anyone who has an interest in Acting or Script Development/Performance
- Applicants who wish to pursue a Bachelor of Education in Creative Arts & Design and Performing Arts to teach at the Junior High School and Senior High School levels
- or just the desire to receive basic knowledge in Performance Studies.
NB: Participants with the University admission requirements may be considered for Diploma or Degree programmes in Theatre Arts of the University.
Duration
The Eight (8) week programme will run from 27th July to 11th September, 2026.
Award
Successful participants will be awarded certificates.
Registration
Prospective participants should purchase the Registration Form at the cost of Eighty Ghana Cedis (GH80.00) from the Account Office of the School of Creative Arts, UEW, Central Campus.
In addition, candidates who would like to be considered for regular admission for a Diploma or Degree programme in Theatre Arts after the vacation programme should purchase online application forms for the 2026/2027 academic year.

Participation Fees
Participants will pay Eight Hundred Ghana Cedis only (GH800.00) to cover the cost of the Training during the Vacation Theatre Camp. Fee payment should be made to GCB, Winneba Branch, Account Number 3051130005320.
