Student Mobility Programme

Leader in Teacher Education

The student mobility programme is a structured scholarship initiative (partial or full) that enables students to undertake short-term study experiences at designated international partner institutions for periods ranging from one week to six months. Core funding streams, including Erasmus+ (European Union) and DAAD, underpin the programme and ensure sustainable access to global learning opportunities. This is a two-way mobility framework: UEW hosts incoming international students while also deploying Ghanaian students abroad. The exchange pathways are diverse and operationally targeted, including but not limited to:

  • Semester Abroad
  • Summer School
  • Teaching Internship
  • Cultural Exchanges
  • Peer/Buddy Connections

Participation is merit-driven. Opportunities are typically reserved for high-performing students who maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.0 at the time of application. All nominations undergo a competitive, transparent, and standards-based selection process.
