UEW Council Chair Urges Prof. Mawutor Avoke to promote Unity and Reconciliation

The Chairman of the University’s Council has urged Professor Mawutor Avoke to genuinely pursue reconciliation as he returns to the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) as substantive Vice-Chancellor.

He further impressed upon Prof. Avoke to use progressive and consultative skills to promote a stable University community that will lead to transformative academic laurels.

This was at a meeting with Management of the UEW yesterday, following the Winneba High Court's decision delivered on 2nd February, 2022, ordering UEW to reinstate Prof. Mawutor Avoke and Five others to the University. The Chairman informed Management that Prof. Avoke and the Five Others had resumed work forthwith.
