UEW Coach Appointed Assistant National Technical Director of Ghana Blind Sports

Coach Eric Ayine Aloko, head coach of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) goalball team, has been appointed as the Assistant National Technical Director of the Ghana Blind Sports Association. The appointment has been confirmed by the National Sports Council.

Coach Aloko won gold medals in goalball for UEW at the 2020 and 2022 Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) games held at the University of Ghana, Legon, and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, respectively.

He also led the Upper East goalball team to win national competitions in 2017 and 2022.

Coach Aloko also serves as the District Physical Education (PE) Coordinator for Talensi District Education Directorate, the Assistant National Team Coach for goalball, and the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rising Fitness and Wellness Ent.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education and a Master of Philosophy degree in Sports and Exercise Science.
