This course gives an overview of classic and contemporary theories of learning and their applications in educational technology and emerging orientations and implications for practice. It will also explore foundations, history, perspectives, and literature in the field. The course will enable students to think more critically about their career goals.
The course also seeks to introduce students to a range of approaches to the infusion of technology and ICT applications across the curriculum, a range of current ICT in education practices and design of ICT classrooms that integrate technology into teaching and learning, and research. The focus of this course is on equipping students with the knowledge and skills required for effective integration of ICT in teaching and learning.
