A music theorist, Emeritus Prof. Kofi Agawu has urged lecturers and students of music to prioritise developing their skills as musicians to increase their reputation in the musical arts.

Coach Eric Ayine Aloko, head coach of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) goalball team, has been appointed as the Assistant National Technical Director of the Ghana Blind Sports Association. The appointment has been confirmed by the National Sports Council.

A virtual matriculation ceremony for 924 sandwich students for the 2021/2022 academic year was hosted by the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) on Friday, 9th December, 2022, at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre, North Campus, Winneba. The four-day workshop, which took place at the HPERS Gym for the theory sessions and the Sir Charles Beach/Olympic Arena for the practical sessions, from Monday, 21st to Thursday, 24th November, 2022, trained participants to practise the Halliwick concept of hydrotherapy in Ghana.
