Online Learning Management System (MOODLE) Fully Deployed

Students of the University of Education, Winneba are hereby informed that the Online Learning Management System, a platform to ensure continuous contact between students and their Lecturers, is fully operational now.

Students are therefore expected to log in and access their academic materials and also contact their Lecturers, as academic work is expected to continue via this platform.

Vice-Chancellor Empowers UEW Security Personnel in the Discharge of Duties

The Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Anthony Afful-Broni has empowered security personnel of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) to be brave and professional in executing their duties.

He authorised them to ensure that every staff or stakeholder who enters the University or any office adheres to official rules and follow the laid down precautionary measures by the University in fighting the coronavirus pandemic.

The Colleges of Education Studies and Distance Education, the University of Cape Coast in collaboration with the University of Sussex, UK is organizing the 3rd International Conference on Education Research for Development in Africa, 2020 on the theme "Reclaiming Global Education Agenda for Africa's Development" at the University of Cape Coast from Wednesday 25th - Friday 27th May 2020.

The Theatre facility in the New School of Creative Arts building in the University of Education, Winneba is a state-of-the-art educational facility, arguably of the best to be found in any educational institution in Ghana. Having been fully completed, thanks to the Management of the University, and readied for academic work and other relevant functions, there is the need for the official opening of the facility.

COLTEK, GTP Partner to Organise Exhibition and Fashion Show

The exhilarating Exhibition and Fashion Show put together annually by the Department of Fashion Design and Textile Education (DFDTE) at the Kumasi Campus of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has this year received a major boost following the Department’s partnering with VLISCO Ghana Group, producers of Ghana Textiles Printers (GTP) to organise the event.

Postponement of Interdenominational Church Service

Members of the University Community and the general public are informed that the Interdenominational Church Service scheduled for Sunday, 15th March, 2020 has been postponed until further notice.

This postponement also affects the crusade scheduled for Friday 13th and Saturday, 14th March, 2020.

This is part of precautionary measures against the coronavirus pandemic.

Any inconvenience created is highly regretted.
