Introduction of Student Emails

The Directorate of ICT Services of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has introduced Student Mail System as part of measures to support smooth communication between the University and its Students. This project is being executed in phases beginning with students who joined the University in the 2018/2019 academic year.

April Session Congregation: UEW Graduates 865 Students

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has graduated a total of 865 students at its April Session Congregation held at the Asante Mampong, Kumasi and Winneba Campuses of the University.

On Tuesday, 23rd April, 2019, a total of 160 students from the Faculties of Agricultural Education and, Science and Environment Education were graduated with various certificates or degrees at Asante Mampong.

UEW Launches 2019-2023 Corporate Strategic Plan at COLTEK

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has launched its fourth 5-year (2019-2023) Corporate Strategic Plan (CSP) that would facilitate the successful execution of its core mandate as the foremost teacher training university in Ghana.

The 73-page document, launched at the Kumasi campus of the University on April 24, 2019 captures the University’s plan under seven crucial themes with respective clear-cut objectives and strategies.

Framewalk - Cross-cultural Workshop

The Department of Theatre Arts of the University of Education, Winneba in collaboration with Kabawil, a Düsseldorf Institute for Cultural Productions and Cultural Education presents Framewalk – the cross-cultural exchange in performing arts for Professional artists and 23 young performers. Framewalk creates an active exchange between the young performers of Ghana and Germany and promotes and expands contacts between professional artists.

MPs, CEOs, others speak at COLTEK GRASAG Entrepreneurship Seminar

The College of Technology Education, Kumasi (COLTEK) of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) played host to two Members of Parliament (MPs) and the Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan (NEIP). They were at the College at the invitation of the COLTEK branch of the Graduate Students’ Association of Ghana (GRASAG) as the principal speakers for the Association’s two-day Entrepreneurship Seminar.
