The Acting Vice-Chancellor of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), Rev. Fr. Prof. Anthony Afful-Broni has charged administrators of the University to be responsible and effective managers.

The programme is designed to train high quality graduates of the Ghanaian Languages who have acquired in-depth knowledge and a very high incidence of competence and performance in their language of study. It is also to implant in the students the desire and the ability to make use of the Ghanaian Languages of their study in higher intellectual communication without any hint of code-switching or code-mixing.

Entry requirement (M.Ed)
For admission to the M.Ed programme, candidates should possess B.Sc or B.Ed degree in Agriculture and related sciences with a minimum of THIRD CLASS or PASS.
The Master of Education in Agriculture programme is a one year sandwich programme. It aims to develop further understanding of topic areas undertaken in a prior qualification, or develop new understanding in areas to broaden the knowledge of students. The Master of Education in Agriculture programme will promote critical reflection by promoting the acquisition of advanced analytical and problem solving skills and conceptual insight that will enhance the capacity of the candidate to undertake a more advanced study in Agriculture.

The Winneba Campus of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) on Tuesday 16th January, 2018 held a matriculation ceremony for the 2017/2018 Distance Education students at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre, North Campus.
The ceremony saw a total of 3,062 students in a zone, comprising 13 Study Centres who were matriculated. The Study Centres were: Accra Academy, Accra (ATTRACO), Accra High, Asamankese, Assin Foso, Axim, Cape Coast, Kasoa, Koforidua, Sekondi, Tarkwa, Tema and Winneba.
