Prof. A. Asabere-Ameyaw had his basic education at the Buoyem Methodist Primary and Middle Schools, Buoyem, near Techiman, Brong Ahafo Region; secondary education at Prempeh College, Kumasi; and studied at the University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast from where he obtained the degrees B. Sc (Hons.), Diploma in Education (1988), M. Sc (Zoology) 1992 and PhD (1998). He has more than twenty-six years of professional experience in teaching and research both at the secondary and tertiary levels of education in Ghana and West Africa.

The Pro Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mawutor Avoke hails from Logba-Tota in the Volta Region. He had his Secondary Education at Mawuli School - Ho, from 1976/77 to 1984. After his secondary and Sixth Form education at Mawuli School, he proceeded to the University of Ibadan, where he had his First Degree and continued with a Masters degree in special education.
